Some of you may agree with me that 2017 was a whirlwind! Did you make your health and wellness goals? It might sound strange but it is OK if you didn’t. Especially if you were consistent with your efforts to make your goals a reality.
Why would it be OK not to hit your goals if you are exercising on a regular basis? The answer is simple and should be your goal for 2018!
One of the biggest challenges people faces is getting into a routine of exercising and being consistent. If you have that down but aren’t getting the results, don’t give up! What you most likely need to do is tweak your workout. This may mean making an appointment with a personal trainer to sit down and talk about what you are doing, what your goals are and what you need to do to get there. I have long said that sometimes your best sessions with a trainer should be spent talking. Not about the weather or sports, but about what you need to do.
Most think training sessions with a personal trainer should be about how sore you are going to be the next day. While there is a place for that, when you start to understand the “why” to your program, results will soon follow!
