I have heard from many people over the years how they once lost weight and they just seem to put it back on. Or they didn’t get the results they had hoped for so they gave up.
It’s good to have long term goals, but always remember to pat yourself on the back when you reach “small” goals. You have to hit the small goals in order to reach the big goal! Health and wellness is a journey that, no matter who you are, will last your entire life.
Hopefully, that didn’t just bum you out. It shouldn’t! I know for some exercise is a grind, something you HAVE to do. The key is to find something that you enjoy doing and make that the main part of your routine. Better yet, do a variety of things so that you don’t get bored. There really is no perfect way to do things, just realize that you need to get it done. We all need to eat healthy and exercise MOST of the time. We don’t have to be perfect. I’ll be honest, if someone told me that I could never have pizza again I would give up right now. So what I decided to do is not have pizza all the time. And when I do I really enjoy it!
