This is a great time of year for those in the fitness industry, particularly those who own gyms. We get people who decide that this is the year! All of their fitness goals are going to come true this year! You spend a lot of money on yearly memberships that will really only be utilized for a month, maybe two. Making promises to yourself that you are going to workout every day, for hours, completely change your diet to a whole food diet, no more junk food that has been the staple for most of your life.
There is a way to make this all work for you and REALLY be that year that changes will be made. Make that money you spend on the membership work for you and you can reap the benefits. The tip for today is to get with a program that is attainable to start and that you can easily make it part of your busy life and build from there. If you haven’t worked out in a long time, or maybe never worked out, you are setting yourself up for failure by trying to exercise every day. This is not to say that you won’t work up to this. Start with 3 times a week for 30 minutes. It doesn’t matter what you do at this point…ride a bike, walk on the treadmill. Just make it 3 times a week and you are on your way!
